Access Means

All students are being hit hard by the skyrocketing cost of a college education. Oftentimes, families with the lowest incomes are those who suffer the most. But you already know this. Most likely, you or someone you know has already been affected by this economic crisis.

This is why we've partnered with I Am Not a Loan to start student-led conversations around college access and launch the #AccessMeans photo campaign, featuring YOU!

Here’s how you can participate:

1.      Take a photo that illustrates what #AccessMeans to you, and be sure to use the hashtag in your caption.

2.       Post it to Instagram.

3.       You’ll be featured on the #AccessMeans site.

Either you will graduate with debt, are currently paying back loans or already know someone who is struggling with student loan debt. All of these experiences shape the reality of access now.

We need institutions, states and the federal government to do more to help low-income students — who are willing to work hard — earn a degree.

Together we need to get everyone talking about what #AccessMeans.

Toward access!

P.S. If you don’t have Instagram, you can tweet what #accessmeans to @iamnotaloan, or post a photo and tag us on Facebook. If none of those options work for you, simply comment on the #AccessMeans site here.
